Paolo Loraso have been taking the photos at Rock Cottage Day Nursery for over 20 years. Staff are always very professional, polite, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is always a quick turn around with the photos, the photos are taken on one day and then photo proofs are back the very next day. The team will work with you on setting a preferred date and also how the morning plan will go with taking the photos of the children. We couldn't ask for a better team to take our nursery photos.
Back in 1994 I met Paolo for the first time when he did my wedding photo's. He is not only an amazing photographer but also an inspirational person. When he said that he was going to trial nursery photo's I didn't hesitate to book our setting in with him. Our families and staff have loved the photo's ever since. It is a relaxed atmosphere and the ladies are lovely who come to share the photo day experience with us. The backgrounds change every time so for children who are with us from birth to 4 years they will have a different backdrop for every photo which is great. The turn around for photo's is very quick but the high quality is not compromised at all. There is no additional work for nursery staff, we just provide the room and key groups enjoy the photo shoot with their key person. Paolo's team do everything else, they are all amazing and wouldn't have anyone else doing our photo's.

Safeguarding is everything when you’re working with young children. All our photographers are trained in-house and hold current Enhanced DBS checks; we’re fully insured; and after 35+ years and 250,000+ children, we know exactly how to keep a session calm, kind and well-managed. We’re always happy to share our certificates and policies before we visit.
Each photo day is run by one of our experienced, Enhanced DBS-checked photographers, a small, friendly team who are all genuinely brilliant with little ones.

Office Manager
With us for 11 years, and over a decade of it behind the camera as an Early Years photographer, Chelsea is now our Office Manager, keeping everything running smoothly for our nurseries and the team. Outside work, she loves family time with her little boy and their two dogs.

One of our dedicated Early Years photographers, Olivia has been with us for 5 years, capturing little ones in nurseries every day and building lovely relationships with the settings she visits. Photography is her passion in and out of work, alongside family time, the outdoors and a good book.

Dawn joined us two years ago as an Early Years photographer, and her background in childcare helps her put both the children and the nursery team at ease. Outside work, she treasures time with her family and her dog, and making memories with her nieces and nephews.
We travel across the Midlands & Northwest, typically within about 75 minutes' drive of our Stoke-on-Trent base.
